In case you didnt know, Seaside Medical Practice offers several aesthetic procedures including Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, Restylane and Dysport. Dr. Yazdani s techniques result in a very natural outcome.
After seeing our patients results and satisfaction, I decided to jump on the rejuvenation wagon and try Radiesse! Its one of the newer, (practically painless) cosmetic fillers on the market, with the benefits of longer lasting effects for a price less costly than most filler products. I have to tell you, the men and women I have seen that have tried Radiesse have had instant, gratifying results and not a single person had bruising or swelling; that is, until it was my turn.
We always tell patients to stop taking aspirin or fish oil several days before any cosmetic procedure to prevent bleeding and swelling. In my great wisdom, I continued my fish oil and baby aspirin regimen and did not mention it to the doctor. Although I could instantly see the lessening of my deep nasal labial folds and watch my marionette lines disappear, I also saw some dark bruises and swelling, requiring ice packs for hours. So my personal word of caution is, before you have any cosmetic procedure, talk to the doctor and tell her what medications and supplements you are taking and if you are prone to bruising, as I am, consider taking a down day after the injections.
It is now exactly one week since my Radiesse injections. I look fantastic!! Seriously, Im adorable!! The bruises and swelling are completely gone. My results are just what I wanted I look ten years younger, but my husband still recognizes me. I would do this again in a nanosecond! I love the way I look.
